I discovered a quite interesting blog yesterday called Mister Crew. It is advertised as "a collection of things on men's clothing and culture."
I think one of the most useful aspects of the blog are scans from Japanese style magazines, notably Men's Ex. Although the pages are in Japanese, the photographs and illustrations are very informative. The images remind me of the old Esquire illustrations that showed you how to combine jackets, pants, shirts, ties and other accessories into a cohesive outfit. One memorable scanned page from Men's Ex on the Mister Crew blog shows six different outfits, from casual to business attire, built off of one navy blazer.
Anyway, the Mister Crew blog provides a lot of useful information; it will be added to my favorites.
